Dr. Scholl's? More like Dr. Awesome

So before I left on this trip, all the travel books I read recommended "good walking shoes" and proceeded to ugly shoes. Nope. I found these UHmazing like, gel-pack Quantum Dr. Scholl's shoe inserts and let me tell you... it's like magic. Thanks Dr. Scholls for letting me wear puma street shoes instead of ugly orthopedics.

Hey this guy below is Robert! My first new friend of the great adventure. Robert was on my plane from DC to London. Turns out he is from Uganda and sings in a Jesus choir that just toured the US for 5 months. I told him I loved Jesus and he grinned. Robert wants to be a preacher and was precious. He gave me a beaded heart necklace to commemorate our friendship before we deplaned. One embarrasingly American thing to note however, is that after being in the US for 5 months, Robert's FAVORITE food is now the hotdog.
