IRELAND and The Black Forest

This was notably funny...

Yesterday afternoon I was showing Erika pics from Switzerland (poor Erika - it is so boring when people make you look at multiple pictures of mountains from their vacation and you have absolutely no attachment to said mountains) - but anyway I mentioned that some guy told us you could actually see the Black Forest of Germany from the Schilthorn summit blah blah. And I was skeptical. She said, let's ask Richie when he gets home, he'll know.

So later that evening, Richie is home - we've all been hanging out for a while - and Erika remembers and asks him if he thinks the Black Forest is visible from central Switz. His reply, "I think so. I actually just learned that today. I was talking to this person in my class who is from Switzerland and mentioned that you could see the Black Forest in Germany......." AAHHAHHAAAA! Erika and I were laughing so hysterically - I was like crying I was laughing so hard and Richie didn't understand why it was so funny that he happened to learn that today from this random person in his class.

Again, what are the odds, people??!?!? first La Bamba 5 times in 24 hours in Paris, then this!
