The neurotic family dog, Emma has a new lease on life these days. Lucky for her, Brooke is obsessed with her - a sure safety from premature euthanization, oft' threatened by Joyce. Brooke loves Emma so much, that her favorite (and most humorous) gift this year was a 5x7 framed photo of family canine. Brooke carried this picture around in a sort of trance, kissing it and repeating, "Emma. Emma. Emma. Emma." Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa
