Anchors Away, Greg. Anchors Away. (Don't forget your life raft in RI this week)

Greg is off to OCS to become a Naval Aviator. We are so proud. Naturally we celebrated Greg and sent him off to Rhode Island at the classiest of establishments, All Around Pizza on Holland Road.

See Greg's Rasputin brew pictured above, a tribute to his recent brainy exploration into Russian literature: Dostoyevsky, Ayn Rand, Tolstoy.

Also say farewell to Greg's hair. The buzz cut will do away with this noggin's fine fluff.

Also true to Greg's life, please note he reported to OCS during the week that Rhode Island is experiencing "the worst flooding in 100 years" according to the National Weather Service.
We love you Greg! See you in 3 months when Ruthie and Kristin finally live the dream and throw you that Top Gun party with beach volleyball and "I <3 Greg Noise" Bumper Stickers. Can't wait.
Spooner, will you comment on this post with all the Navy pilot phrases we came up with for Greg to practice before he left town? I, of course, have forgotten.

(An unexpected highlight from this evening were tales of Lambert House grandeur that somehow I have managed to miss out on for the past several years. Amazing.)
