Conclusion: Definitely getting better at the self portrait.
Also I am noticing how my need to produce follows me here, even when I am unemployed and do not HAVE TO do anything. I am intentionally cutting out some of my orig travel destinations to just be, rather than to do.
(Also... for depth... I have not spent tons of time communiing with the Lord and I find that when I do open my Bible and I am just like starving for Him. I read in the first few chapters of Luke this morning. Jesus is such a BA. I love how he just does it. Just walks with such confidence and does not take crap. Stands for truth and does not pander to anyone. I really love Him. I started tearing up reading about him. Also - still reading Ecclesiastes. Really struck by "A time to seek; a time to give up." Not sure why though.)

Hatcher! Loooooove that you're in Italia these days! Hope that you enjoy Firenze and get to see some amazing art. Make sure you go up to Fiesole! There's a seminary at the top of the city that I considered just staying at...we love you!
