The image that keeps coming to mind from London - so vivid - is the picture of this kid, looked like 18 yrs old, begging in the Underground. I saw him on my way home from Les Miz and I Was struck by his feet. They were bare. It is cold and damp in London and I hate it when my feet are cold. I was in a big crowd rushing down the staires and I felt a tug on my heart to stop, but I was afriad. Afraid of doing something wrong in a different country, afraid of stopping up the line of people, but the line from the show immediately popped into mind; "TO love another person is to see the face of God" So I passed him and then ran back up to where he was and gave him all the money from my pockets. HE raised his head and said thanks. But here is what keeps going on in my mind - also I have been reading Ecclesiastes, so bright and cheerful that book. But I am thinking o gfear and how I hate that fear is a motivator for my action or inaction. This is why I admire Kristin and Sam so much. I want to be like them. Fear keeps me from obeying and loving. Gross! NO Fear! (2nd place is the first loser.. haaaaaaaaaaaa)
